The Spotting Scope Accessory Rail [SSAR] enhances the versatility of your Leupold Mark 4 12-20x60mm spotting scope.  The SSAR allows you to easily and securely mount clip-on night vision and thermal imaging cameras in from of the spotting scope objective.  It can be used with any commercial tripod, yet is specially designed to work in conjunction with the patented Tactical Interface Mount (T.I.M.).  This combination allows users to additionally mount laser pointing ranging and illumination devices.

The SSAR can be mounted in a common upright position or in a low profile under slung position using the TIM or TIM-17 mount.  Either SSAR mounting position allows for the attachment of a variety of clip-on devices to include; AN/PVS-22, AN/PVS-26, NiteSpot MR, AN/PVS27 and AN/PVS-30. The extremely lightweight SSAR uses standard 1/4 x 20 screw mounts and is available in the color black.
